Bull Ant (Myrmecia sp.) nest

Myrmecia sp., I believe. Found at Twin Creeks Conservation Reserve in the valley of the Kalgan, Porongurup. Western Australia, Australia.

 

Found this mound nest at side of trail. Very large and impressive ants.
