Micro Bee Fly

Found at Hotham River Nature Reserve, S of Pingelly. Western Australia, Australia.

 

Thanks to Dr. Neal Evenhuis for familial placement. Very small, in the 3mm range.

 

Found on stem end at base of shrub. Only got a couple of shots before it flew off. Would have been nice to get shots with the MP-E, no such luck.
