Male Asilinae of sorts. Found at Glass House Mountains National Park (off Mount Beerburrum access road). Queensland, Australia.
Presumably this is Cerdistus exilis, based on the one from same spot that was expertly IDed by Greg Daniels (see comments).
Bright red glob is a mite.
