Antlike Flower Beetle (Amblyderus pallens)

Amblyderus pallens (LeConte, 1850). Found at Grant Park in South Milwaukee in south-eastern Wisconsin. Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, USA.

 

Found crawling on sand on a sandy Lake Michigan beach. At about 3mm, these are difficult to see on the sand.
