Net-casting Spider (Deinopis sp.)

Deinopis sp. Found at La Selva Biological Station, near Puerto Viejo de Sarapiquí. Heredia Province, Costa Rica.

 

Found at night in a tree at the start of the SPL trail. I was really surprised at how large these are. Note - white spots in photo are mist, not sensor or lens dust.
