Flower-loving Fly (Apiocera sp.)

Female Apiocera sp., I believe. Found on 'Carlo Walking Track' trail leading from Carlo car park to Carlo Sand Blow. Rainbow Beach in Great Sandy National Park. Queensland, Australia.

 

Found perching on ground at side of the trail.
