Plunkett Conservation Park habitat

Plunkett Conservation Park in Cedar Creek. Queensland, Australia.

This is the nice woods where I found some large and flashy robber flies. Two or 3 of them were hanging out in this spot. As I was slowly and stealthily 'chasing' them around trying to photograph them, they alternated perches between the two large termite mounds seen here and trunks of standing trees/snags.
