Lichen Mimic Beetle (Pristoderus chloreus)

Pristoderus chloreus Turco & Ślipiński, 2012. Thanks to Dr. Federica Turco for providing the species determination via private email. Found at Main Range National Park, off Crest car park. Queensland, Australia.

 

Found on a large tree stump at side of trail on Rainforest circuit. The stump was partially covered by mosses and had several of these beetles on it as well as some really cool weevils and small darkling beetles.
