Male Andrenosoma igneum Bromley, 1929. Thanks to Eric Fisher for providing the species determination on bugguide. Found at Resaca De La Palma State Park in far southern Texas. Cameron County, Texas, USA.
This one was on the horizontal part of a chest-high branch coming out of a living tree. Cooperative until I tried to get a more dorsal shot.
