Cicindela sedecimpunctata Klug, 1834 - Western Red-bellied Tiger Beetle. Thanks to Blaine Mathison for providing the species determination on bugguide. Found at Ramsey Canyon Preserve in Huachuca Mountains. Cochise County, Arizona, USA.
This individual was at the stream and was alighting on rocks at edge of stream and rocks partly submerged in the stream. Very wary.
