Robber Fly

Found at Montagu Mountain Reserve, just north of Montagu. Western Cape, South Africa.

 

Male Stichopogon sp., I believe.

 

Found along the Keisie River. The sandy Badskloof Trail was a very good area for these little 4-6mm robbers.
