Flower-loving Fly (Apiocera sp.)

Male Apiocera sp. Found on 'Mikado Firebreak' trail leading from Phil Rogers Park car park to Carlo car park. Rainbow Beach in Great Sandy National Park. Queensland, Australia.

 

Several of these were present on this gravelly/sandy trail.
