Mating Robber Flies

Holcocephala sp. Pleasant Valley Conservancy SNA in southern Wisconsin. Dane County, Wisconsin, USA.

 

Saw a couple of these pairings within about a ten minute period. The first pair decoupled before I could change lenses.
