Phyllomydas phyllocerus Bigot, 1880. Thanks to Even Dankowicz for providing the species determination on bugguide. Found at Bitter Lake National Wildlife Refuge in eastern New Mexico. Chaves County, New Mexico, USA.
I saw 3 or 4 of these on the Upland Desert Trail. They were flying about and landing on shrubs.
