Cicada (Parnkalla muelleri)
Parnkalla muelleri (Distant, 1882). Thanks to David Emery in comments below for providing the species ID. Found on private property on Mudlo Road just to the north of Mudlo National Park. Queensland, Australia. Note: I had met the property owner on the road and he was kind enough to allow me to roam around on his property as long as I promised not to get lost.
