Ralph Lockey, Datsun 1200 rally car
Winner of the 1977 Pirelli/CCC Championship. Lockey campaigned Datsuns (and a Datsun-engined Metro!) for many years. Elements of one of his later cars still live on today.
This 1200 Coupe (B110 model) is sponsored by Bradleys of Peterlee and is unusual for being on a 1975/76 P-reg. Maybe it was a reshelled bitsa? DVLA weren't so fussy about giving out age-related registrations back then...
