Mrs Peacock in the dark room!
I can see clearly now
day 22 of the photo challenge and today's brief is "Blurry"
And this picture certainly is Blurry
Oddly this has been how i saw the world for about 4 years, it wasn't this bad to start off with, but my right eye could only make out movement and colour.
For 2 years i couldn't drive at night, along with the blurred vision was multiple vision in that eye. so headlight, rain was just terrifying
it took 4 years of testing, for some quite unusual conditions one of which had only been seen 3 times in 25 years, i had been wired up to check mt brain was translating the data my eyes were seeing.
It took a new consultant 5 minutes to understand what i had, i had early onset cataract.
I took my sight for granted, its still not fantastic, as i have cataract in the other eye as well, but at this stage its not as problematic as my right was. i am building my confidence with my night driving, and remembering how much freedom you have with sight :)
