47786 Ashton 11th December 2001
A wintery view looking over Ashton (Bristol) shows 47786 hauling a Serco test train running as 1Z14, the 08:00 Swindon to Tytherington via Portbury on 11th December 2001. On the rear 47778 can just be seen, standard power at the time for test trains. Dominating the view is Brunels Clifton Suspension Bridge built across the River Avon in 1835.
