37254 Scarborough 6th February 2023
37254 "Cardiff Canton" waits time at Scarborough with 1Q63, the 20:44 test train to Milford Loop via York on the evening of 6th February 2023. New in January 1965 this former South Wales stalwart is now in its 58th year of service, quite amazing really. The loco was withdrawn 31st January 1999 and entered preservation at the Spa valley railway. Its return to mainline use under the Colas banner came in 2016.
