British traction working a long way from home. Here 2001 (20035), 2004 (20228) run through the beautiful Bourgogne countryside in central France with the 14:20 Saulieu - Cravant Bazarnes freight. The curtain sided van had been collected at a siding in Avallon a few miles south. The pick up freight ran Monday to Friday using the CFD Class 20's Sadly all the freight in the region was lost to rail and the line just has a few local passenger services.
