37708 Britton Ferry 12th June 1996
Back in 1996 BP Baglan Bay was a busy place for railfreight with various chemical and gas trains. On the evening of Wednesday 12th June 1996 37708 heads off with a train of Styrene Monomer in faded blue 100 tonne TEA tanks (PR826xx) which was running as 6Z40, the 18:00 Baglan Bay to Stalybridge (AtoChem) near Manchester. It would have run round Britton Ferry where 37888 can be seen entering the yard having also come from the BP plant. Once run round it would head also head west with discharged acetic acid tanks running as 6E33, the 20:15 Baglan Bay-Hull Saltend .
