Alsthom built "Brigitte" 2750Kw 3000v DC locomotive arrives at Ljubljana with a container service from the Adratic coast on 24th July 2018. These powerful engines ware based on the French "Nez Cassé" or broken nose body design once common in France, the 363's being based on the powerful CC6500 machines. The nickname “Brigitte” comes from the famed French actress Brigitte Bardot. Forty were built between 1975-1977 with 38 still in service across Slovenia. Not the shot I wanted but with only an hour put aside for rail photography this was the best I could get.
