47156 Wichnor Junction 23rd June 1995.
47156 heads south near Wichnor Junction with the Aluminium billet service from Lynmouth on 23rd June 1995. The service ran as 4V03 14:18 Lynemouth Alcan – Pengam FLT and once at Pengam the billets were roaded a few miles to Alcan at Rogerstone who hot rolled it into aluminium sheets which were used for everything from kitchen foil to car panels. The Welsh site was sadly shut down in 2003 with the Lynemouth Smelter following on 29 March 2012. As for the 47 its days running days ended in December 1998 and disposed by C.F. Booth Rotherham in Mach 2005
