37221, 37152 Lock Treig 11th August 1994

100 years to the day of the formal opening of the West Highland Line between Craigendoran nr Glasgow and Fort William 37221, 37152 pass the edges of Loch Treig with a return West Highland Centenary special Glasgow on 11th August 1994. Both the Class 37’s and coaching stock are in Intercity livery. The set of gleaming Mk 1 coaches was used for the InterCity Landcruise trains at the time.

I have digitally removed one person who was hanging half his body and arms out of the train window, foolish on the approach to a tunnel.
