37668 Coombe Jun 3rd May 1994

Petroleum liveried 37668 is seen waiting at the section board at Coombe Junction on the Looe branch with CDA’s from Moorswater on 3rd may 1994. I can't remember much about the operation here for china clay trains but it apears to only have 8 wagons, I guess that was the maximum load for the climb up to Liskeard on the mainline. In the background is Moorswater viaduct which open in February 1881. The pilars from the original viaduct can also be seen which was built in 1855 but deemed unsafe.
