6203 Princess Margaret Rose Cricieth May 1975
En route from static display at 'Butlins' Penychain, the now preserved LMS class 7P Pacific 'Princess Margaret Rose' is hauled through Cricieth station by 24053 (not visible) to Derby on 11 May 1975. This was probably the heaviest load to travel on the Cambrian Coast - it had arrived at Butlins via the Caernarfon-Afonwen line in May 1963 hauled by Ivatt Class 4 No. 43052. As this line was now closed (since December 1964) it had to be hauled to Derby via the Cambrian.
