Region around Crater Campanus

The moon at age 12.32 days, is centered on the peaked crater Campanus (radius = 29miles). Other prominent features include:

* Mare Humorum ("Sea of Moisture") (to upper left)

* Crater Tycho (crater with peak in upper right)

* Crater Mersenius (near upper left corner)

* Crater Doppelmayer (faint ring, but with visible peak in Mare Humorum)

* Crater Vitello (crater with peak to the left of center)

* Crater Kies (faint crater to right of Companus)

* Crater Konig (smaller crater midway between Tycho and Companus)

* Compuanus (larger crater below Companus and Mercator
