Sinus Iridum Region

An image of the Sinus Iridum region on the moon taken the evening of the 14th April. This area bounded by the semi circular Jura Mountains is actually a flooded crater basin that is approximately 260 kms across. The image consists of the 100 best images from 10000 taken.
