The Longo piece is under glass and reflects the museum visitors and these reflections seem to represent the protestors themselves and/or the cable tv viewing audience. Everybody watched the protests unfold through different lenses: personal experiences, preconceived notions, prejudices, editorializing through various interest groups, etc, and now here it is presented to a relatively affluent and insulated audience to be viewed through yet another lens: as art. But as Patsy Stone (AbFab) asked Edina Monsoon, "but is it art, Eddie?" Thanks for looking
