Leicaflex SL w EOS A2 diopter
Finding the proper diopter for a Leica R or Leicaflex SL2 is relatively easy (if not especially cheap). In my experience, finding the proper diopter for the Leicaflex SL is much harder. I read somewhere that the diopter for the Canon EOS A2 would fit an SL, and that is what you see here. While it's been a real boon in helping me focus the Leicaflex, there is an issue you should be aware of if you go this route. The diopter's soft surround extends beyond the contours of the prism and prevents the film advance lever from being stowed completely, leaving the camera's meter on. To avoid draining your battery, slip the diopter off when not in use.
