Forgive Me Darling!

I was on jury duty recently, and eavesdropped on a conversation between two older men. One of them was a smoker who's wife had recently quit and wanted him to give up his smokes once and for all, but he had no intention of quitting. He said, "Ah hell, I'll butter her up with flowers next time she gets on me!"
