FieldSeeker GIS is a program used by mosquito control agencies across the world for collecting GIS and data information in the field for reporting. Functions include: mapping treatment areas and recording how much of what chemical went where, trap data and locations, open and assigned service requests, collection information, drawing new locations and recording information, and exporting data for reports.

 

FieldSeeker GIS already existed in a Silverlight Web App desktop app for office use, and Windows Mobile for field use on handhelds. The goal was to work with app developers and create an iOS version customized for a specific client. I was in charge of turning a bulleted list of functions into a functional and effective user experience and interface, and completing the designs into completely designed mock-ups for client approval. The designs were then handed over for development.
