Bar Harbor is located on beautiful Mount Desert Island. The town of Bar Harbor is a one of several located on the island. The town was established in 1763 and has for many years been the home of lobstermen, shipbuilders, artists and the wealthy.
The island is the home of Acadia National Park one of the most beautiful in the USA.
