Virtual Tour Of The Jersey Shore - Sun, Sand, Surf and the Boardwalk
by Dan Beards
The Famous Jersey Shore is about 131 miles of the New Jersey coastal area from Sandy Hook in the north to Cape May in the south. It's no secret that the Jersey Shore beaches are among the finest on the east coast. But beside the sand and boardwalks the Jersey Shore offers visitors more to do and see than any other coastal areas I have ever visited.
For example if you love history you will find an area which was strongly involved in the American Revolution, Victorian communities such as Cape May and Ocean Grove. The Sport of Kings at the beautiful Monmouth Race Track, the quite beautiful beaches of Island Beach State Park, the excitement of the Hotels and Casinos of Atlantic City, wife life refuges, rock and roll, family resorts, the homes of the rich and powerful, baseball with the Lakewood Blueclaws and much much more.
Nothing distorts the reputation of this area more than a trashy TV show with a bunch of low lifes from another state. THIS IS NOT THE JERSEY SHORE! Come see the real Jersey Shore. Come with me and enjoy my beautiful state.
