Homes lining the Main Street in Waterloo Village

Old Waterloo Road in Waterloo Village is this old dirt public road. It is lined with the many restored buildings of the village.

 

Many of these homes belonged to the Smith Family. This family was responsible for the development of Waterloo Village, especially following the opening of the Morris Canal in 1832.
