Colonial Reenactors Moving into Position on the Battlefield

Under the direct command of George Washington about 150 members of the Hunterdon County Militia under the leadership of Major General Von Steuben attacked the British.

 

During this brief engagement at least nine soldiers were wounded, three or four colonial and six loyalists including Colonel Simcoe, commander of the Loyalists Rangers.
