The Old Tennent Presbyterian Church

This triumph of preservation is Monmouth County’s oldest house of worship, he Old Tennent Presbyterian Church.

From the towering pulpit to the ancient Communion table once used by Lenape Indians, little has changed since the cornerstone was laid in 1751.

Under the reign of King George II the church's charter was approved. As a result, his portrait hangs near the entrance.
