Belt Knife, Belt Axe and Fasciae Knife

The Fasciae Knife was from the 18th century. It was used to chop small branches. These branches were tied into bundles called fasciae which were used to build fortifications. Both the Belt Knife and the Belt Axe were 18th Century tools made of iron with hickory handles.
