This is a copy of the mural, on display at the Jockey Hollow Visitor Center It depicts the Continental Army's encampment there during the winter of 1779-1780. A farmer's fields and wooded hills were transformed in a few months into a campsite for over 10,000 soldiers- making it the 5th largest city in the country at that time.
