The Henry W. Longfellow House

This lithograph 0f the Henry W. Longfellow House is on display in the Lloyd W. Smith Collection. At the Morristown National Historical Park Museum.

 

It was built in 1759 for a wealthy British business man. Washington used it ad his headquarters during his first winter encampment in 1775. It was later the residence of Henry W. Longfellow.
