Altar of Saint Thérèse of Lisieux (the Little Flower)
This altar is carved from French limestone. The recess of the walls are lined with Swiss cipolin marble and the altar and reredos are of white Italian marble.In the reredos are fields of gold mosaic with ornamental inlays of roses in formally bordered panels. On the right of the altar is a carved panel of the infant Jesus while on the left is the Veil of Veronica. The marble statue of St. Theresa was carved by sculptor Marion Korbel.
