Altar of Saint Elizabeth at St. Patrick's Cathedral
The Roman artist Paolo Medici designed the Saint Elizabeth altar. In the high central niche stands the statue of St. Elizabeth the mother of John The Baptist. On either side of the tabernacle doors are panels that depict episodes from the life of John The Baptist.
