GWR 12T covered goods wagon
In the garden of a cottage near Cwmbran in S Wales.
If correctly identified (outside framing and door style) this was one of the final GWR designs to have a 9 foot wheel base, and 950 examples were built between 1929 and 1933. Withdrawal took place in the early 1960's, which is probably when it arrived on this hillside location. It has been there for over 40 years. The window is not original, the doors are.
