Sunset at the Fremont Bridge

This was my first day in Portland. After checking in at my hotel I was able to head over to the Fremond Bridge to get some images just as the sun was setting. I this case, the serene image of the gracefully arching bridge fails to recreate the intense roar that eminates from this structure. I think the entire bridge acts as a resonator for the heavy volume of traffic that passes over it.
