Seljalandsfoss Waterfall, Iceland
I had remembered that I'd taken a select number of RAW images while on my trip to Iceland last year. Now that I have Photomatix I realized that I could create HDR images from these single RAW files. It's not a true exposure blend but with a moving object like a waterfall it's difficult to get multiple-exposure HDRs without serious ghosting. I never posted this before because the image was not all that remarkable. After being processed through Photomatix it really brings out the details in the sky and in the shadowed recesses in the rock overhang. As always, I try to process any HDRs to avoid halos and hyper-saturated colors.
