Linear Accelerator

This is a rotated image of the view looking up under the entrance plaza of the International Jewelry Center, adjacent to Pershing Square in downtown Los Angeles. The line of rings that seem to float in space are really a series of semi-circular transparent hoops set into the reflective ceiling.
