Pray for China During the Olympics
Voice of the Martyrs (VOTM) is encouraging believers around the world to pray for China during the Summer Olympic Games in Beijing August 8th thru August 24th, 2008.
VOTM says more than 800,000 prayer bands have already been distributed.
Sadly, the Chinese pastor who suggested the use of this prayer band to VOTM, pastor Zhang "Bike" Mingxuan, known for riding his bike around China to evangelize, was arrested on August 6th (2 days before the Olympics opened) after months of harassment by Chinese officials.
Pray for Pastor "Bike," his wife and another pastor who were all arrested and may still be in prison.
