Elephant Trunk shot out of Berlin
One of these rare real clear nights, right after a cold front with rain passed over the city. And some wind on the back side.
Always washes the dust particles out of the air and so I get a decent transparency.
Actually one of my best shots of this target from my living room windowsill. I've been on this fellow for 3 years now and I'm finally coming to an end of what is achievable from my location. The living room on the 3rd floor started as a testing ground for my equipment, but due to laziness and the sheer size of the gear it is now the place were I do the most shooting.
10x900s ha, 8x900s OIII, 8x900s SII. Meade 5000, 127mm triplet refraktor with a long Perng 0,6 Redcucer.
Atik460 (-15°) with Baader NB filters (7nm ha, 8nm OII & SII)
On a NEQ6 with a Lodestar on a OAG. Just bias and flats, no darks.
