Hike Map - Sierra Azul
Friday's H4H class met up at the Wood Road parking lot in Quicksilver County Park. From there the class members carpooled up to either the Bald Mountain lot in Sierra Azul or to the the Mount Umunhum lot. As my car was already full I went directly up to the Bald Mountain lot.
Arriving in the lot before the rest of the group we first headed out to Bald Mountain for a look around. Following that we went out and back to the 2.5 mile marker on Mount Umunhum Trail, with a stop at the Guadalupe Creek Overlook on the way. We'd been to the top of Um a few weeks ago and didn't feel the need for a return visit so soon.
