Quicksilver 9.1

What is a hike without any flowers? Well, a flowerless hike of course. But not this one. No sir, there were plenty of blooms even though things were drying out & turning brown in the surrounding hills. Without further ado, these nine are, clockwise from top left:

Sticky Monkeyflower (mimulus aurantiacus)

Coyote Mint (monardella villosa)

Annual Lupine (lupinus bicolor)

Yellow Mariposa (calochortus luteus)

Deerweed (acmispon glaber)

Purple Salsify (tragopogon porrifolius) - non-native

Yellow Yarrow (eriophyllum confertiflorum)

Purple Clarkia (clarkia purpurea)

Scotch Broom (cytisus scoparius) - Invasive non-native
